Our philosophy

When shopping for an excavation contractor, we know operator experience is of utmost importance. Their attention to detail can make the difference between completing the job quickly, or even at all. We pride ourselves in just that: the experience and expertise of our operators. We hire only the most dedicated, experienced professionals. We then provide these professionals with the best equipment and management available to ensure that your job gets done, and done well.

Our history

Ron Hall started the business in 1970, servicing both residential and commercial clients, over the next 20 years with excavation services and shale products. Ron expanded the business into site sewage systems, bank protection and site servicing. Son Tim grew up in the business and has expanded on the proven philosophy and skills that his father Ron originated. Since 1994, Hall Excavating has been a member of operating engineers (International Union of Operating Engineers) servicing many of the same satisfied clients. The business has grown with Kamloops, and Hall now has over 40 pieces of equipment ready to serve your needs. But while expanding and remaining a leader in the industry, Hall has always kept the business a workable size, ensuring that every job gets Tim's personal attention  to detail, quality, safety and speed.
